The Born CCM is a space created for the city to encourage and promote the remembrance of local and national events, as well as those affected communities around the world. The cultural center was inaugurated in 2013.
Inside the center, you will find a faithful picture of daily life in the Barcelona of the early 18th century, as you stroll through the streets of the city that resisted the siege by Philip V’s troops in 1713 and 1714, until the final attack and surrender on 11 September. It should be noted that in this place operated The Born Market (a place for supplies, food, and exchange) between 1876 and 1971. It was the first large architectonic iron building built in Barcelona, its structure remains intact and is one of the most striking in the sector.
Nowadays, the center serves as a forum for meetings and debates, a space for learning and enjoying artistic works that reflect the facts and events that form human culture.

4. Textile and Clothing Museum, the evolution of fashion.
The Textile and Clothing Museum is a must-see. It is a great museum to visit for both fashion-lovers and fashion students alike.
This museum recalls the evolution of textile art in 1500 years. It contains fascinating pieces of both clothing and jewelry of the history of fashion - from the Baroque era to the twentieth century - in which the collector Manuel Rocamora gave a donation in the 1960s, and in which it is one of the best collections of this type in the world.
Some of the items on display include Hispano-Arab fabrics from the Medieval Age, some liturgical garments the embroidery of the city and the lace collection. Important donations include that of the Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga, famous for the doll dress of 1958 and the hat of the fort.
The Textile and Clothing Museum occupies two adjacent buildings: the Nadal Palace and the Palace of the Marquises of Llió; The latter retains some of its wooden roofs of the 13th century.
